Our free starter programme is a self-directed, flexible, accessible and bite sized programme intended to give you a foundation in leadership for personalised care. It provides the first step to equipping you as a leader with the skills and confidence to embed the principles as best practice across the health and social care system.
Each module consists of pre-recorded masterclasses and a course booklet for you to work through in your own time. We plan to run more live masterclasses in the future too.
Sign up to our mailing list and we will send you the module 1 course booklet to get you started. We will also keep you up-to-date with information about live-masterclasses for each of the modules.
Introduction to Leadership for Personalised Care
This module provides you with the basics around personalised care and the leadership qualities you will need to make it a reality.
When you sign up to take the course you will be sent the course booklets and links to pre-recorded masterclasses.
Personalised Care in a complex system
How complex systems work, how change spreads through networks, the leadership skills this requires and how we can use this to our advantage.
Collaborative Leadership for Personalised Care
How relationships, partnerships, collaboration and collective action are the only way to solve ‘wicked’ issues and what that means for us as leaders.
Personalised leadership for wellbeing, equality and inclusion
Taking the principles of personalisation and applying it to ourselves, our staff, and the communities we serve, in order to achieve social justice and reduce health inequalities.
The learning points will also prove invaluable in a new five-year programme that has been signed off by our board which is focused on tackling health inequalities, with a strong emphasis on utilising asset-based community development
